French

We are using the Rosetta Stone Homeschool Edition. It's an interactive computer-based course that advocates an immersion approach to language learning. The thinking is that it is best to learn a language as one would simply by growing up in or moving to a new country. Only French is heard or spoken; there is no translation. The voices on the program are native speakers. One also speaks to the computer using voice recognition software. You get a ping if it's close enough and a grunt if not!
