Latin

Aly is learning with 'Latin for Children' by Classical Academic Press. It involves lots of (what we find to be good) old-fashioned rote learning of vocabulary, conjugations and declensions. There's a DVD lesson, and also a CD of the week's material that we have on in the car as we buzz about to all the week's happenings. The cheerful, down-home style is wonderfully nerdy; the way Latin should be!

Struan is on the same company's 'Song School Latin'.. It's a very gentle and fun introduction to the language with a cartoon monkey called Simeon.
