Hello and welcome to our blog. We are a family of 4 and have been home educating since our eldest son would have started school in 2012. Dh and I share the H.E duties between us. We're going to try blogging partly to encourage us to reflect on what we're doing and partly to share what we're up to with anybody who may be interested. As a family we are all really enjoying home ed. so if we help in any way to support others or to help spread the word then that would be wonderful.

Sofa School
Most of our English curriculum is done aurally so we can do a big chunk of it on the sofa. This is where we normally are in the morning as we start school. We are learning prepositions here by making up silly sentences.
Would you like two more at sofa school? Since it's English should it not be 'orally'? ;-) or maybe I should be back at school too!
ReplyDeleteI wondered about that too,,,,,and guessed that it's oral for me as I do most of the talking but it's more aural for them as they do more listening!
