Hello

Hello and welcome to our blog. We are a family of 4 and have been home educating since our eldest son would have started school in 2012. Dh and I share the H.E duties between us. We're going to try blogging partly to encourage us to reflect on what we're doing and partly to share what we're up to with anybody who may be interested. As a family we are all really enjoying home ed. so if we help in any way to support others or to help spread the word then that would be wonderful.

Into Film

Kids' Club attended a screening of 'The Gruffalo' and 'Room on the Broom' at the lovely Cameo cinema this morning as part of the 'Into Film' festival,  There was also a man from Magic Light Pictures there to talk us through the process of making the films. He showed us some of the initial drawings and  3D images and even played the director's first rough mock-up of one of the scenes with himself speaking the lines. 

Apologies for photo quality....my phone in a dark cinema. This was a shot showing the initial models for a background in Room on the Broom.
