One of my top reasons to homeschool is to give the boys as much time off as possible. We try to keep school short and concentrated. This means that on a Friday we do a grand total of one hour's work as they have a social club and then their drama classes later that day. We are strict about getting the work done on the day, though, so if we run out of time it has to get finished off later on somehow. Aly had a bigger assignment than usual today so here we are finishing it off in a cafe before drama (after a slice of Rocky Road to help with energy levels).
