Hello

Hello and welcome to our blog. We are a family of 4 and have been home educating since our eldest son would have started school in 2012. Dh and I share the H.E duties between us. We're going to try blogging partly to encourage us to reflect on what we're doing and partly to share what we're up to with anybody who may be interested. As a family we are all really enjoying home ed. so if we help in any way to support others or to help spread the word then that would be wonderful.

Great big catch-up...

I'm trying to keep up with the blog a bit more but failing miserable so here is a catch-up of recent stuff I meant to post...

Struan posted himself a letter as part of his grammar lesson. It did make it home! 


Aly's love of Snoopy came out in Latin.


We got back to our regular art curriculum (Artistic Pursuits) after the art swap finished up.


Evidence that Daddy really does teach science and maths (but always forgets to post about them!).


And today we visited the Breadshare community bakery to learn about organic, sourdough baking and to make some rolls. Here is the tasting session.
