Hello
Hello and welcome to our blog. We are a family of 4 and have been home educating since our eldest son would have started school in 2012. Dh and I share the H.E duties between us. We're going to try blogging partly to encourage us to reflect on what we're doing and partly to share what we're up to with anybody who may be interested. As a family we are all really enjoying home ed. so if we help in any way to support others or to help spread the word then that would be wonderful.

Scottish Folk Tales Web Resource
We stumbled on this collection of Scottish folk tales as we were looking for inspiration for an art project. It is a great collection of audio and video tellings of stories. The videos are very simple but cosy looking. You feel like the story teller is in your own home; maybe a remote cottage, with quite possibly a storm raging outside. The transcripts are on there too if you'd rather read them yourself. They aren't aimed specifically at kids so although we haven't found anything particularly scary you might want to review some of them yourself first depending on the ages and sensitivities of your audience.
