Hello
Hello and welcome to our blog. We are a family of 4 and have been home educating since our eldest son would have started school in 2012. Dh and I share the H.E duties between us. We're going to try blogging partly to encourage us to reflect on what we're doing and partly to share what we're up to with anybody who may be interested. As a family we are all really enjoying home ed. so if we help in any way to support others or to help spread the word then that would be wonderful.

Sowing Season
We spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy being aware of seasonal changes. The weekly Woodland Trust 'Nature Detectives' challenges help with this. Now that the boys are getting older they are starting to be more involved in the garden as well. We have a lot of seeds to plant as a result of gifts, seeds left over from last year and over enthusiastic purchases (made back in the dark days of February when all those lovely summery looking pictures on the front of the packets were irresistible). I have decided that the way to tackle this is to plant one packet per day through April. We started today with some lovely bush cherry tomatoes. Grow little seeds grow!
