Hello

Hello and welcome to our blog. We are a family of 4 and have been home educating since our eldest son would have started school in 2012. Dh and I share the H.E duties between us. We're going to try blogging partly to encourage us to reflect on what we're doing and partly to share what we're up to with anybody who may be interested. As a family we are all really enjoying home ed. so if we help in any way to support others or to help spread the word then that would be wonderful.

Summer Livin' but School Rolls On

I haven't been posting here so much and the main reason is that we've had lovely sunny weather so there's been lots of 
....!

We have done school every day but no extras. Here is science today, though, just to prove we aren't skiving! The boys are learning about vacuums so Henry the Vacuum cleaner illustrated how he creates a vacuum by blowing air out


....creating low pressure in his tum so that the relatively high pressured air in the room rushes in to fill him up again.

    The gorgeous weather does have a negative effect on blogging doesn't it?
    I'm the same - we never seem to be indoors but isn't that just brilliant?
