Ds6 has been asking to learn geography recently. I was loath to add another subject to our timetable as I feel we are doing enough structured stuff for now. So, we decided to do it more informally. We started with this do-it-yourself continent jigsaw puzzle. He coloured in the continents on a world map in different colours, we laminated it and cut it up to make a puzzle. We will now do a series of country studies, starting with the USA, making a scrapbook about each ones geography, people, government and history.
