The boys and I read up on industrialisation in advance of our co-op's visit to Prestongrange Museum this week. I went off to sort laundry while they kept reading. I heard noodling around going on and was about to tell them off when I was met with "but Mummy, we're being a beam engine". Moments to treasure!
They then made a Lego one.
