Hello

Hello and welcome to our blog. We are a family of 4 and have been home educating since our eldest son would have started school in 2012. Dh and I share the H.E duties between us. We're going to try blogging partly to encourage us to reflect on what we're doing and partly to share what we're up to with anybody who may be interested. As a family we are all really enjoying home ed. so if we help in any way to support others or to help spread the word then that would be wonderful.

This week

Bit of a round-up as I forgot to post things as we went along.

We found an ill mouse and brought it in in the hope it might recover but sadly it didn't last the night. It did have a last meal of Parmesan, though.

Dali-sequel collages thanks to 'Discovering Great Artists' on Tuesday, followed by bike riding and frolicking in the stubble fields.

Lots of new starts this week. Struan started swimming and both boys began gymnastics.

The local co-op met and started the season with a swing :)

Then a bat walk with the NTS ranger and a very well-timed Mary Queen of Scots workshop at the John Gray Centre in Haddington. We were studying her in Story of the World this week!
